Unicon is over now so it’s time to start the new rulebook committee. After each Unicon, a new IUF Rulebook Committee is formed to develop the next version of the IUF rules. If you are interested in changing the current rules or creating new ones, please read on.
The members of the committee are typically people who have takes part at several Unicons and many other conventions and/or also hosted several conventions.
The committee this year will function very similar to the previous committee. There will be a set of subcommittees, one for each discipline, where knowledgeable people will create proposals and vote on new rules. As these rules pass, they will be sent to the main committee where they will either be approved, edited, or sent back to the subcommittee. There exists a member limit per country to keep it international balanced. This member limit is strictly enforced in the main committee but more flexible in the subcommittees.
If you are interested in being a part of the Rulebook Committee this year, please fill out this form before October 5th.
