You didn't mention that you are riding unicycles now. If you are not, you
must be crazy. Bill Jenack, founder of the Unicycling Society of America,
once wrote of a one legged man who learned to ride a unicycle using a crutch
on the empty pedal. You may have already thought of something similar that
is appropriate in your case.
