I think one of the important aspects of a rec.sport.unicycling is the larger
auidence. Seems like this would do a lot to promote unicycling. Somebody
might read rec.sport.unicycling just for fun where they would never subscribe
to the mailing list. How does a person find out about the mailing list
anyway? I guess you have to know enough to ask. I think I first heard about
it on rec.juggling.

Maybe somebody would read the newsgroup because they used to unicycle when
they were younger. They see something interesting, dig out that old uni in
the garage and get back into the sport again.

Seems like this is a vote for a newsgroup. Is it worth stressing this point
in the RFD?

Do you have to put that statement in the RFD about the average only being 7
messages a day? Sounds like pretty low numbers to me and some usenet folks
might vote no just because they feel it isn't worth it for only 7 messages a
day. Stress the high numbers and leave off the low ones.

I don't see any advantage to a digest for me. Might help some people I
suppose.
